Day 1Arrival and Transfer to the hotel in Kutaisi, Tskaltubo (25 km)

Day 2Tour to Tskaltubo, overnight in Borjomi (130 km)

Breakfast at the hotel; start the tour at about 10:30

Day Planning:

  • Explore Prometheus cave – already the name of this place gives you some mysterious feeling about and it is the Prometheus cave is one of Georgia’s natural wonders and one of largest in the world full of underground rivers, lakes, halls. Such a natural beauty make you feel yourself in wonderland.
  • Lunch at the restaurant nearby
  • After, we continue our way to Borjomi through the Zekari pass, the rigid and adventurous roads, winding through the wonderful mountain areas. Arrival to Borjomi, welcome to outstanding nature and unique mineral waters!

Day 3Tour to Vardzia, overnight in Vardzia (105 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • First walking in the Central Park of Borjomi, survey the territory and taster the mineral curative spring waters.
  • Continue our incredible journey to next destination, to Vardzia, which will amaze with its extraordinary buildings situated in the rocks. Vardzia cave-town complex which consists from 600 survived rooms each of which has its own and puzzling story!
  • Lunch in Local family in Vardzia and return to Akhaltiskhe – the main city of region. Check-in the hotel there and rest

Day 4Tour to Abastumani, overnight in Batumi (340 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • Not to lose the spirit, let’s move and visit the next exotic, full of nature, Abastumani, through the Goderdzi Pass. We will observe amazing and shining green colour lake.
  • Lunch in local family or at the restaurant
  • One quick stop in Abastumani. Small town, yet very cute, with local the Observatory. If you are lucky then you can perceive the mysterious sky with full of shining stars!
  • Today’s final destination is Batumi, black sea-coast.

Day 5Tour around the city of Batumi and Mtirala, overnight in Batumi (60 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • Let’s start our way and visit the beautiful black sea coast and city of Adjarian region, Batumi. Walking in the paradise! Visit piazza, Alphabet tower, the Statue of Ali and Nino.
  • Lunch at the restaurant
  • Tour to the Mtirala national park. Wild nature, walking tracks and waterfalls will give you an amazing feeling of peace and tranquillity!

Overnight in Batumi. 

Day 6Tour to Zugdidi, overnight in Mestia (270 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • Check out from hotel and drive to another interesting city of Georgia – Zugdidi.
  • We will visit the Dadiani Palace, city’s treasure. Dadiani was an ancient aristocratic family, known for their association with Napoleon Bonaparte. This intriguing sentence can be enough to look forward to visiting the local museum.
  • Lunch at the restaurant in Zugdidi
  • Our next destination can be considered as amazing, authentic, wild, mysterious part of Georgia, Svaneti.

Day 7Chalaadi Glacier / Heshkili Huts

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • Let’s make our first stop and visit the small world of “Hobbit” in Svaneti. This is a place where you will feel yourself completely free of the everyday routine, spread the wings and fly away.
  • Picnic in the nature
  • The feeling of freedom and intimacy with the nature will not leave you while hiking to the Chalaadi Glacier. Route first goes through the young pine forest. Then starts stony gorge which earlier was also occupied by glacier. The majesty of the glacier and cold breeze of the river Engury will fascinate you for a long time!

Overnight in Mestia.

Day 8Trip to Ushguli, overnight in Ushguli (50 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • Continue our way to Ushguli to explore the more of the mysterious Svaneti region. Upon arrival to the destination, walking by foot to Mt. Shkhara and visiting Lamaria church (situated on a lonely hill there stands ancient Lamaria church (church of the Assumption of the Mother of God) with still active services. Local residents believe that it was under this church that Queen Tamara, who was a central figure in Svans history, was buried.
  • Lunch at the café in Ushguli
  • Then, we will walk alongside the wonderful Enguri River.

Day 9Trip to Ambrolauri, overnight in Ambrolauri (150 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:

  • This morning we will drive towards to Ambrolauri and visit the small, peaceful village Sadmeli, where you will be hosted by the “Sad Meli” winery.
  • Lunch in the winery
  • This winery is special with its breathtaking view to the village, with peaceful atmosphere and delicious wine!
  • The amazing landscape, green tress, fresh air and open spaces will accompany throughout the whole trip.

Overnight in Ambrolauri.

Day 10Trip to Ambrolauri, overnight in Ambrolauri (150 km)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Day Planning:  

  • Check out from the hotel and start the tour towards Nikorstminda, where you will get a chance to visit the Cathedral (built in 1010-1014) is symbol of the golden age of Georgian architecture, with its unique facade decorations, barflies from the 11th century and 15th century paintings depicting noblemen of Racha and Imereti from those times. Nikortsminda is just minutes’ drive from Shaori lake.
  • Lunch in local family or picnic in the nature
  • Walking in Nikortsminda (just few kilometers 2-3) in the wonderful nature. The cold mountain river in deep forest, place for picric and just heavenly relax. There is a water dam where you can swim. We will visit several caves, e.g. cave called Sakinule (‘fridge’) where its considerably lower temperature than outside, you will feel yourself like in fridge
  • Return to Kutaisi.

Day 11Trip to Martvili, overnight in Kutaisi (170 km)

Day Planning:  

  • We will head to explore the canyons of Georgia. Let’s start with theMartvili canyon. Martvili is located in Samegrelo region of Western Georgia, 280km from Tbilisi. On its highest hill there is a Monastery. The site upon the hill where the monastery stands today was used in ancient times as a pagan cultural center and was a sacred site. There once stood an ancient and enormous oak tree that was worshipped as an idol of fertility and prosperity. Infants were once sacrificed here as well. After the conversion of the native population to Christianity, the ancient tree was cut down so as not to worship it anymore.
  • Lunch in local family or at the restaurant;
  • Let’s not lose the temper and continue our way to Sataplia. The Sataplia Nature Reserve is a place where you can see footprints of dinosaurs, cave and ancient plants together. Sataplia Cave is named after Sataplia Mountain, which gained its name from the local tradition of collecting honey from the bees that inhabit the mountain’s southern slope. Sataplia means ‘place of honey’.

Day 12Transfer to the airport for departure (25 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. at about 12:00, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Kutaisi airport for departure.

Georgia known until 1995 as the Republic of Georgia, is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, it is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan. The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Georgia covers a territory of 69,700 square kilometres (26,911 sq mi), and its 2017 population is about 3.718 million. Georgia is a unitary parliamentary republic, with the government elected through a representative democracy. Like most native Caucasian peoples, the Georgians do not fit into any of the main ethnic categories of Europe or Asia. The Georgian language, the most pervasive of the Kartvelian languages, is not Indo-European, Turkic, or Semitic. The present day Georgian or Kartvelian nation is thought to have resulted from the fusion of aboriginal, autochthonous inhabitants with immigrants who moved into South Caucasus from the direction of Anatolia in remote antiquity. Ethnic Georgians form about 86.8 percent of Georgia's current population of 3,713,804 (2014 census). Other ethnic groups include Abkhazians, Armenians, Assyrians, Azerbaijanis, Greeks, Jews, Kists, Ossetians, Russians, Ukrainians, Yezidis and others. The Georgian Jews are one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world. Once Georgia was also home to significant ethnic German communities, but most Germans were deported during World War II. The most widespread language group is the Kartvelian family, which includes Georgian, Svan, Mingrelian and Laz. The official languages of Georgia are Georgian, with Abkhaz having official status within the autonomous region of Abkhazia. Georgian is the primary language of 87.7 % of the population, followed by 6.2 % speaking Azerbaijani, 3.9 % Armenian, 1.2 % Russian, and 1 % other languages. In the 2010, the United States federal government began the Teach and Learn English with Georgia program of promoting English literacy in elementary school. The goal was to import English speakers from across the world to ensure that all children in Georgia spoke English in four years and replace Russian as a second language.
